      Product description

Flex films are a very popular material used in thermal transfer. Flex heat-sealable foils are cut on a cutting plotter and then applied to the selected base using a heat transfer press. Depending on the properties of the film and the final effect, there are a lot of types heat transfer vinyls: from standard, metallic, glitter, lacquered, neon, reflective, structured and others. At your request, we can provide you a flex or flock foil sample - please ask your sales representative for details.

      • Thickness: approx. 90µm
      • Flex thermal transfer foil with glitter is made of high-quality polyurethane foil, coated on one side with a strong adhesive (the adhesive is thermally activated - under the influence of the heat of the transfer press)
      • Flex is a durable, resistant thermal transfer material - it does not wash, crack or fade
      • Thermal transfer flex foil is suitable for heating on many types of substrates, both cotton and polyester
      • Due to its full coverage, the glitter flex foil can be applied to dark and light fabrics
      • Flex glitter foil with a rough structure works well when cutting on a plotter / selecting unnecessary elements
      • A strong adhesive backing makes glitter foils ideal for prints with multiple layers and colours
      • Washing resistance: Maximum temperature: 60°C
      • Textiles printed with Heatflex foil can be dried in a tumble dryer
      • See more flex films in other vivid colours
      Application instructions:
      • Cut the selected motif on the plotter in a mirror image (left legible); a knife with a cutting angle of 45° should cut the foil itself without the transparent polyester liner
      • Weed off the unnecessary parts of the foil
      • Place the foil on a T-shirt or other medium and heat it for 10 seconds at 145°C with medium press pressure
      • Peel off the transparent transfer foil a few seconds after the transfer
A video shows the print from several heatflex films is below. It is only sample video, the current welding parameters are in the instructions above.
