      • Isopropanol is used as a mild organic solvent as a cheaper alternative to methanol and ethanol or when the purity of denatured alcohol is insufficient
      • May be used as an additive to fuels to increase water solubility
      • Liquid isopropyl alcohol is used to clean the optical elements of telescopes, binoculars, spotting scopes, camera lenses, night vision lenses
